A sound roof starts with its timber structure. Heytasker supplies and fits roof framing for extensions, garden rooms, garages and loft conversions, and repairs damaged or sagging roof timbers on existing homes.

We work with traditional cut roofs, made from rafters, purlins, ridge boards and collar ties, and with factory-made roof trusses, which install quickly and are designed for specific spans and loads. Trusses must be fitted exactly as the manufacturer's drawings specify, with correct bracing, restraint straps and bearing, and we follow those details closely.

Typical jobs include:

• Replacing rotten rafter feet or wall plates 
• Strengthening sagging or overloaded roofs 
• Framing new roofs on extensions and outbuildings 
• Fitting trusses to garages and annexes

Roof structures carry snow and wind loads and are often covered by Building Regulations, so we ask for engineer's or truss manufacturer's drawings where they're needed and explain which approvals apply before work starts. You'll receive a written quote that covers timber, fixings and labour.
